Application For Permanent Residency (PR) In Singapore

The eligibility criteria for foreigners to apply for PR are as follows:

Businessmen

A foreigner, who is interested to start up a business or invest in Singapore, may apply for Permanent Residence (PR) status for himself and his immediate family (spouse and unmarried children 21 years of age and below).

An investor would most probably be someone who has:

A substantial business track record
An entrepreneurial background
A business proposal or investment plan

Investors

migration FOREIGNERS who are worth at least S$20 million can apply for permanent residency if they invest S$5 million here. Applicants must deposit at least $5 million with financial institutions for a continuous period of five years to get PR status. Their spouses and children can also apply. Investors can choose to place the S$5m as bank deposits, capital markets products, collective investment schemes or life insurance policy premiums.

Qualified Professionals

Foreigners who possess professional qualifications and who are working in Singapore can apply for a PR.
